Unlike traditional home ownership - at University Heights the program consists
of purchasing the home and assuming a long-term lease of the lot. The ground
lease contains provisions and restrictions regarding the resale price and
procedures for the homes. The ground lease structure enables the homes to be
sold below market rates and enables the homes to remain available and
affordable over time for future faculty and staff homebuyers.
Eligibility, priority and the sales process and procedures are detailed in the
FAQ. An interest list of CSUF faculty and staff is being maintained by the CSUF
Housing Authority (CSUFHA). If you would like to be added to this list, please
go to "How to Apply", fill out and fax in your interest list application
and your name will be added to the list. Email updates will be sent
periodically regarding project progress and information.
